- 1 slice whole wheat bread
- 1 tsp low-fat cream cheese
- 2 oz turkey breast (substitute for roast beef)
- 1/4 tomato, sliced
- 7 whole almonds
- 1/2 tbsp raisins
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1 apple
I woke up feeling dreadfully ill, the digestive woes having only worsened over night. I had a fever and unbearable stomach ache, so I took a second dose of laxatives, thinking if things did not get moving, I would go see a doctor today.
Fortunately the drugs did their thing and I'm feeling immensely better, though still a little nauseous. I have no idea what brought on this bout of bizarre intestinal behavior, but I'm relieved that it seems to have passed.
This breakfast was good, though I was a little frustrated because the deli did not have roast beef. I didn't know if it was okay to substitute turkey breast (though I assumed it was). To be honest, I didn't really care - I was just happy to be feeling a little better.
