Lunch, Day Fifteen


    California Beef Salad made with:
  • 2 oz deli sliced roast beef
  • 1-1/2 cups alfalfa sprouts
  • 3/4 medium fresh tomato
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 3 tbsp fat-free Italian dressing
  • sprinkle of soy nuts

Unlike the ridiculously big Southwestern Beef Salad I had in the first week, this was a manageable amount of food and quite a good blend of flavors. I slightly misread the ingredients list and used 1/4 oz too little beef and 1/2 cup too much sprouts... but all things considered I could have made worse mistakes. I couldn't find sunflower seeds at the store so I went with soy nuts and thought they were a nice addition.
