Weigh-In Week Three


I weighed in at 194.5... which is only down 1.5 pounds.

I probably should have expected this, considering I pigged out last week and cheated last night - I had salsa and chips and graham crackers. I know it could be worse but still, not helping. I've also been drinking soda with most meals, which is probably causing me to retain more than if I had water or Crystal Light or similar.

On the other hand, losing a pound and a half just by eating is a really good thing, and I'm still happy about it. I need to start exercising to get my metabolism going, and then I should actually start seeing results. I'm feeling a lot better overall, despite bouts of stress, moodiness, and exhaustion from overwork. I noticed today that my skin and hair are a lot healthier, almost glowing, which made me realize that I wasn't getting proper nutrition before beginning this diet. I'm very pleased with that.

Total weight loss to date: 7.5 lbs
