Weigh-In Week Five


188.5. The good thing, when I was checking in my weigh-in stats, is that my BMI has lowered from 34.8 to 32.47. That's not so bad in only four weeks!

I know that I'm really unhappy with skipping meals, but progress is progress as long as I can work to maintain it. I would much rather lose weight while being properly nourished and be able to account this loss to, say, increased exercise or some other healthful pursuit.

As an aside, the weather this week has been incredibly beautiful and I'm suddenly just itching for spring - I can't wait to get outside and active, and as shallow as it may be... I'm actually looking forward to wearing spring clothes too!

Total Weight Loss: 13.5 pounds

Hahah the mirror scale - I remember those days! I like getting a real number because typically I look in the mirror and am horrified, thinking I look fatter than ever - but the numbers don't lie.

Of course, it's also easy to get compulsive and weigh yourself every day (as my boyfriend did) - boy does that discourage you! I'm sticking with once a week.
