- (top)Lean Cuisine Cheese Lasagna Florentine bake
- Lean Cuisine Chicken in Peanut Sauce
Originally I planned to just eat one of these and get to work, but then a few hours later I still had a ridiculous appetite, so I had the second. I think that I was supposed to have had one with salad and fruit, but together they were around 500 calories and not too terribly awful, so I'm not going to beat myself up about it.
The lasagna situation claims to have all these vegetables in it... it was certainly tasty, but I did not see or taste any of those. It was more like pasta with some cheese and tomato sauce. That's okay because that's what I wanted, but I can't help thinking their product copy is a bit misleading.
The chicken was good, and I liked the peanut sauce even though it was quite bland. The chicken was almost doughy in how easily it came apart in the mouth, but for some reason I liked that. The whole-wheat noodles were nutty and delicious. Maybe I'm a sucker for frozen entrees after all.
