I don't know if it counts or not, but I walked several miles around the city today, sometimes at a reasonably brisk pace.
I guess if I got enough exercise walking around running errands, I wouldn't be overweight, but today was a particularly walking-intense day and my legs felt like they'd been exercising.
I guess it's better than nothing?
I need to start a real exercise program - even if it is just walking, I need to do it purposefully and regularly to make sure I get a good work-out.
